Held a meeting with local partner organisations and participated representatives of local Environment and Tourism Agency, Labour and Social Welfare Office, Chamber of commerce and Industry, Vocational Training School and local business companies.  

DU team members provided information about the MONGWBL project (aim, objectives, work packages, planning, outcomes, activities and etc.) introduced curriculum updates. B.Ganzorig, Local Environment and Tourism Agency specialist presented Dornod aimag’s policy on tourism,  it’s implementation and outcomes.  A.Myagmarsuren, Labour and Social Welfare Office specialist introduced  programs for young people employment, Internship program for HEI’s graduates. Z.Adiya, head of  the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, explained about the MoU with Chinese tourism companies and opportunities to provide practicum/apprenticeship at Mongolian and Chinese tour camps.

During the discussion session, participants exchanged their ideas, opinions for further cooperation, especially in implementing of the MONGWBL project and scheduled next meetings and workshops. Also, attendees visited  the employment and learning support centers for local students, established with EU support in frame of the MONGWBL project.
